Suzuki Alto Price in Pakistan 2026 & Installment Plans

The Suzuki Alto price in Pakistan is the first thing most families check when they plan to buy their first new car. The Alto 660cc has been the best-selling car in the country for years because it is small, easy on fuel and cheaper to maintain than almost anything else on the road. But with prices now close to Rs. 30 lakh, many buyers are asking whether to pay cash, book through a bank, or wait.

In this guide we cover the latest Alto 2026 variant prices, sample bank installment plans (Alto qistoon par), fuel average, the 2026 updates, and honest pros and cons, so you can decide what fits your budget.

Suzuki Alto Price in Pakistan 2026 (All Variants)

Pak Suzuki currently sells three versions of the 660cc Alto. The older base VX variant is no longer in the regular price list, so the VXR manual is now the entry point. These are ex-factory prices as reported in July 2026; on-road cost is higher once you add withholding tax, registration and token tax for your province.

VariantGearboxEx-factory price (approx.)Withholding tax: filer / non-filer (approx.)
Alto VXR5-speed manualRs. 29.9 lakhRs. 15,000 / Rs. 45,000
Alto VXR AGSAuto Gear ShiftRs. 31.7 lakhRs. 16,000 / Rs. 47,500
Alto VXL AGSAuto Gear ShiftRs. 33.3 lakhRs. 16,600 / Rs. 50,000

Prices are approximate for October 2026 and change with the dollar rate and taxes; confirm with an authorised Pak Suzuki dealer or the official Suzuki website before booking.

As a rough rule, add Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1 lakh on top of the ex-factory price for registration, number plates, token tax and first insurance, depending on your city and whether you are a filer. If you are not yet a tax filer, it is usually worth becoming one before buying, because non-filers pay about three times more withholding tax.

Which Alto Variant Should You Buy?

Alto VXR (manual)

Best for buyers on the tightest budget and for people who drive mostly on open roads or in smaller cities. It now gets power windows and ABS brakes in the 2026 update, which makes it far more sensible than the old stripped-down base model.

Alto VXR AGS

AGS (Auto Gear Shift) is an automated manual gearbox. There is no clutch pedal, so it is much easier in stop-and-go traffic in Karachi, Lahore or Rawalpindi. Gear changes feel a little slow compared with a proper automatic, but most owners get used to it within a week.

Alto VXL AGS

The top variant adds comfort items such as alloy wheels, a better infotainment screen and keyless entry on most units. If you want the Alto as your only family car and can stretch the budget by about Rs. 1.6 lakh, the VXL AGS gives the best resale value too.

Suzuki Alto Installment Plans (Bank Car Financing)

Most Pakistani banks, including conventional and Islamic banks, finance the Alto. Under State Bank rules, car financing is usually limited to a maximum tenure of 5 years with a minimum down payment of around 30%, and there is an upper limit on the loan amount. Islamic banks use Ijarah or diminishing Musharakah instead of interest, but the monthly amount ends up in a similar range.

The table below shows example 5-year plans reported in the media in mid-2026. Your actual instalment will depend on the bank, current KIBOR rate, your down payment and insurance cost.

VariantDown payment (approx.)TenureMonthly instalment (approx.)
Alto VXRRs. 10.2 lakh5 yearsRs. 51,000
Alto VXR AGSRs. 10.1 lakh5 yearsRs. 55,500
Alto VXL AGSRs. 10.6 lakh5 yearsRs. 58,500

How to apply for Alto car financing

  • Compare 3–4 banks (Meezan, BankIslami, HBL, MCB, Bank Alfalah and others) using their online car calculators.
  • Keep CNIC, latest salary slips or business proof, 6-month bank statement and two references ready.
  • Ask for the total cost over 5 years, not just the monthly figure. Include insurance and processing fees.
  • A larger down payment or a shorter tenure (3 years) reduces the total markup a lot.
  • Read the early settlement charges before signing.

Pak Suzuki also runs limited-time offers with partner banks from time to time, sometimes with reduced markup on a short tenure. Ask your dealer if any such offer is running when you visit.

This is general information, not financial advice. Interest rates and bank policies change; get the final quote in writing from your bank.

Fuel Average and Running Cost

Real-world Alto fuel average in Pakistan is usually around 16–18 km per litre in city traffic and 20–22 km per litre on highways with gentle driving. The AGS versions give similar mileage to the manual if you drive smoothly.

With petrol at about Rs. 398 per litre in October 2026, a person driving 1,000 km a month in the city would use around 55–60 litres, which is roughly Rs. 22,000–24,000 per month on fuel. For more saving ideas, read our guide on how to increase car fuel average.
